Old Norma and the problem with her stalkers
Um.It's because it wasn't a love marriage. Pretty sure that was HIS house, too. And she's sick in the head; the symptoms are right there, right in front of you. (you should have noticed with your background and interest in mental health I noticed after checking out your excellent bio) LOL !!! But seriously, she used that marriage to get control of Tampa which in her mind means destroying others. You notice she does not promote her first marriage to cookie garcia so much, right? You better watch your butt unless you REALLY REALLY KNOW HER. Her daughter(s) and their white trash friends has(have) stalked my family for nearly three decades. BUT that all started with crazy crazy norma.
Because some of her little thief friends stole my Father's life insurance money and because MY MOTHER rightly took them to court where they pretended to send the old woman (40 or 50 or 60 at the time) thief to prison. However, the prison has no record of her nor does BOP. Yet she stole what today would be an enormous sum of money was supposed to correct it but that also never happened. DOWNTOWN TAMPA stinks of the smell of lies and deceit such.
That's not the only reason, however. But she and her scum used it to try to get others to help them frame myself and others in my family. Which was generally not successful because most of them are not really bright. You have probably noticed that.

This of course, is my strong and firm very personal opinion based on many hours of research and documentation and Norma's insane(rthannorma) daugher stalking me from Tampa to different places, including on to an airplane to another state, or into restaurants, etc. Statistically if I have seen THE NUTBAG daughter on a plane I would have others in that same category. Any time we came home, any time we left, ANY TIME we walked out of our door front or back, he spent his time running up and down our fence in the vacant yard next door to terrorize and harass our beautiful dog so she could never relax in the sun in our garden ... he would get on his motorcycle and follow us for her as we went on runs and walks. He hurled insults at us (fat, queer, gay,stupid, bitch, whore, faggot you get the picture (if you leave these comments here tomorrow I will put the names so you can see if you are familiar with them. I bet you will be, her circles ALWAYS intersect... just for the record we're none of those but you know kids are cross-dressers now so... none of us mind being called gay which made us laugh) She is very obsessed with us. But who do you think compelled these people who moved into the house over and over again across there? At least 80 of them over a couple of years who all hurled the same insults despite the fact we had never said a word to them or even bothered with them.
ONE piece of trash type who started walking a ferocious dog constantly growling back and forth BUT ONLY next to my car and only the width of my lot (50') and constantly talking trash like I had never heard in all my life even working with the public. (such as oh bitch you want my dog to eat your dog? I'd hate to see our dogs get into a fight ANY TIME I was outside my fence I built to keep those mudders out of my yard and they came over anyway .. ... all this while she was holding the leash of the poor mean-trained dog and wearing a suggestion of a skirt, she was nasty) Later I heard her telling someone that she had 'this big old house all to herself' because of what she was 'doing' ... so they were being paid or living rent free in order to harass us. I will happily tell you exactly what crazy crazy coot Norma did and then played it off as though it WAS ME. She had help planning it. It's common to when Kelly Benjamin was running for office and Rose the drugstore lady pol was sending people in to glare at him and intimidate him ONLY MUCH MUCH WORSE, and the sadists enjoy it. So Norma numbers many sadists among her circle. It's obvious that my story is the true one because the passage of time displays her lie and my truth more perfectly than anything.
Her granddaughter has stood on that same porch of that
'big old house' yelling and taking pictures. She's a large girl and when I saw her on Norma's facebook I recognized her immediately. I'm sure that was Norma's intention as her hair is what you can only call ODD and NOTICEABLE. Same chick if you only saw her once you'd know her next time you saw her.
The one arrested for dope over and over. Can't blame that kid, really .... Norma doesn't worry that she lied to her own grand-daughter to connive this behavior, sir. A kid whose whole life was a LIE. ST. PETERSBURG — Five years ago when Publix bought 49 Albertsons stores across the state, local shoppers quickly questioned what would happen to the seemingly redundant situation at 38th Avenue N and Fourth Street.
On the west side sat an Albertsons and on the east, a Publix. Would the Lakeland grocery company close one or convert it to its "healthier" Greenwise concept? Neither.
After a facelift, the Albertsons reopened as a Publix, or "Publixons" as many shoppers nicknamed it. Despite continued rumors along the way of closings or new concepts, five years later both stores continue to operate just a few hundred yards from each other.

"We are happy with the performance of both of those stores and we are fortunate they're doing so well in such close proximity," said Publix spokesman Brian West.
There are no plans to alter what seems to be the redundant locations, he said. There are enough shoppers in the area to support both stores.
"It's very common to have stores in very close proximity," West added. "I know we have stores that are just a few blocks from other in Miami."
But these are the only two that are more or less across the street from each other in the five states where Publix operates.
The stores are so close, in fact, that if a shopper finds one is out of a certain product a Publix employee will go to the other store and fetch it. Those are the only two stores with such an agreement, West stressed.
Shoppers interviewed by the Tampa Bay Times recently at the two stores were not aware of the convenient customer service, but each had a reason for shopping on the east or west side of the street.
Amy Willoughby has been shopping at the original Publix for a decade. She tried the converted Albertsons a few times but came back to her grocery roots.
"I didn't feel that familiarity at (the converted Publix). I can find things easier here," she said while pushing her 7-year-old daughter, Reese, into the original store at 200 37th Ave. N.
"I just never bothered to change," said customer Sal Schantz, as she exited the original Publix. "I know some people like it over there but it doesn't make much sense to me."
Brooke Mitchell came to the area four years ago and sampled both Publix stores. She opted for the one on the west side at 3700 Fourth St. N.
"This parking lot is so much better than the other one. With all the other shops in the shopping center it's harder to find a place to park over there," she explained.
Barbara Merrill shopped at the first Publix from 1999 until the new one opened. The parking lured her to break tradition and head west.
"The store is less crowded, too. It took a little while to get used to it but now I like it a lot. I can run in and out faster," she said.
Richard Storer has bought his groceries on the west side of Fourth Street since it was Skaggs Albertsons 40 years ago, he said with a smile. He prefers it now because of the wider aisles. His daughter has limited mobility and can get around on her crutches much easier in the bigger store that was Albertsons.
"It's convenient for us and gives her a chance to walk," he said, adding: "We've always shopped here."

Since Brian West is actually in advertising. Not a corporate spokesperson or involved in strategic planning. This seems to be some type of free ad is disguise as a thank you for advertising. With that being said, the $10 off $50 purchase coupons that occasionally show up in the Sunday paper are highly sought after. I would think that if they were an every week offer, the Times subscription numbers would skyrocket. Katherine, it is great to see you are keeping the journalistic integrity of the Times intact.

I prefer the store in NE Shopping center. I recognize most of the staff. I just feels like "home." The other one is alright, but it's harder to find what I'm shopping for. NE location seems to have fresher looking produce and meat. Both have very helpful staff.

LARGO — The president of St. Petersburg College apologized Tuesday for selecting a construction firm without notifying the public, a misstep that violated state law and could delay the opening of the school's new Midtown campus.
William Law Jr. acknowledged that he did not open his interviews with construction firms to the public, nor did he record them, as required by Florida statutes. Attorneys say the interviews could have been exempted from public meetings laws, but never were declared public in the first place and still would need to be recorded.
The college's board of trustees voted to throw out the February selection of the Rhode Island-based Gilbane Building Co. and restart the process of awarding the $14 million contract. The college is replacing its current Midtown campus with a larger building in the heart of the neighborhood.

"I take full responsibility for the fact that we are back here today," Law said, adding later "there's always a little bit of an embarrassment factor when the president has to say 'back up a bit.' "
The school was quickly hit with a protest from Peter Brown Construction, a firm headquartered in Clearwater. The firm claimed that Law played an outsized role in the process, ignoring a selection committee's recommendation to pick Peter Brown.
The college denied that a committee ever ranked the three finalists before Law chose Gilbane. "But we can't prove it because we don't have a record," said Joe Lang, the board's attorney.
The board hopes to make a new decision in June, resetting the time line of the Midtown project, which was expected to break ground as early as May.
Law said after the meeting that he did not believe the new Midtown campus was still on schedule to open in fall 2014. He said it could open the next semester, in January 2015.
The new campus will have "the biggest economic impact that has hit this community in over 50 years," board chairman Deveron Gibbons said.
"Things happen," he said. "But if you work with us, you'll see we get it right."
Right now, just 8 to 10 percent of adults identified as eligible students within five miles of the Midtown campus enroll. Most of the college's other campuses enroll 12 to 16 percent of the potential students in their neighborhoods.
In addition to the change in location, the new campus will allow students to complete two-year associate degrees. School officials hope that community meeting spaces, a tutoring center, counseling centers, financial aid offices and a library will entice students and push enrollment from about 450 into the thousands.

SPC formerly planned to close the Midtown campus under President Kutler because of low attendance and neighborhood issues, but the politics intervened and the campus basically became a loss leader.
Why President Law chose to negotiate with an out of state contractor behind closed doors is anyone's guess. Hopefully, additional illegality was not involved. However, it is odd that when talking about the biggest economic impact in 50 years, the initial profits of construction will be going to Rhode Island.
All things considered, I guess the newly issued college value statements of Culture of Inquiry, Partnerships and Transparency are strictly for marketing purposes only.

The location of this extravagant new "campus" is a total waste of resources. It is payment of extortion funds to certain local political groups. There will never be enough qualified students to justify the building of this structure. The overhead on this building will be outrageous on a per capita student enrollment.
The area is political, economic, and criminal cesspool. Those area residents who are capable and desirous of being educated are easily and economically able to go to other existing locations that operate much more efficiently.

That's the fundamental problem with the "increased access" assumption in higher ed. If a 15-minute drive to the Gibbs campus is enough to deter a student from bettering their life, then putting a campus in their backyard isn't going to do it either. You'll welcome students through the front door and watch them go out the back. It's a structural solution to a cultural problem - which is why it doesn't work. It's like me putting a treadmill in my bedroom in the hopes that it will eliminate the fact that I hate exercise.

Dr. Law is a politician - and every politician tries to overstep their reach at one point or another. The bigger mess up is the extent to which he is spending recklessly on every project put before him - including $14-million on a campus to expand access to a community that is only a 15-minute drive from the Gibbs campus.

Lang and other attorneys advised Law that if he continued to fight the protest, he eventually would end up in court and lose over the open meetings violations.
The board hopes to make a new decision in June, resetting the time line of the Midtown project, which was expected to break ground as early as May.
Law said after the meeting that he did not believe the new Midtown campus was still on schedule to open in the fall of 2014. He said it could open the next semester, in January of 2015.
School officials recognize the significance of the project to the Midtown neighborhood. Residents of the long-blighted area were furious when Sweetbay — the neighborhood's first supermarket — abruptly closed in January.
The new campus will have "the biggest economic impact that has hit this community in over 50 years," board chairman Deveron Gibbons said.
"Things happen," he said. "But if you work with us, you'll see we get it right."

"This community, they have been fantastic in their support but they come to their skepticism legitimately," he said. "They've been promised things that don't come around."

The U.S. Department of Justice announced that the Atlanta-based company would also "take steps" to block illicit online drug dealers from using their delivery service.
The DOJ said the fine amount is the money UPS collected from suspect online pharmacies. UPS won't be charged with any crimes.

"We believe we have an obligation and responsibility to help curb the sale and shipment of drugs sold through illegal Internet pharmacies," UPS spokesman Bill Tanner said. "UPS will pay a $40 million penalty and has agreed to enhance its compliance policies with respect to Internet pharmacy shippers."
Its biggest rival, FedEx Corp., still remains a target in the federal investigation, according to its March 21 quarterly report filed with the Security and Exchange Commission.
"We believe that our employees have acted in good faith at all times," FedEx stated in its regulatory filing. "We do not believe that we have engaged in any illegal activities and will vigorously defend ourselves in any action that may result from the investigation."
FedEx said it received subpoenas from a federal grand jury in San Francisco in 2008 and 2009. The San Francisco U.S. Attorney's office has played a central role in a nationwide crackdown on online pharmacies. Ten people with ties to online pharmacies have been convicted over the last two years.
"It is unclear what federal laws UPS may have violated," FedEx said in statement Friday. "We remain confident that we are in compliance with federal law."
The DOJ said some UPS employees knew the company was making deliveries between 2003 and 2010 for pharmacies that filled orders for dangerous drugs without proper prescriptions from doctors.
"Despite being on notice that this activity was occurring, UPS did not implement procedures to close the shipping accounts of Internet," the DOJ said in a prepared statement.
FedEx said federal investigators have declined to supply it with a list of suspect pharmacies. The company said it "can immediately shut off shipping services to those pharmacies" if given such a list.
A DOJ spokesman declined to comment about the FedEx investigation.
In a prepared statement announcing the UPS settlement, Food and Drug Administration criminal chief John Roth said the "FDA is hopeful that the positive actions taken by UPS in this case will send a message to other shipping firms to put public health and safety above profits."
Earlier this week, a federal judge in San Francisco sentenced Chris Napoli to four years in prison and ordered to forfeit $24 million his illicit pharmacy Safescripts Online earned between 2004 and 2006. Two other men were sentenced to prison along with Napoli. Receipts from UPS and FedEx were used as evidence in the trio's trial last year.
